McConnellsburg 16, Forbes Road 0: The Spartans visited county rival Forbes Road Cardinals on September 8 for a league matchup and earned a league victory, extending their winning streak to three games with their third shutout of the season.
McConnellsburg led 8-0 at halftime and scored eight more unanswered goals after the break. Lincoln McKelvy, Hoyt Glenn, and Grady Shives each recorded hat tricks, while Callen Mellott, Joel Kneapper, Tristin Sipes, Tucker Hedge, Hayes Alexander, and Matthew Mellott added one goal apiece.
The Spartans (3-0, 2-0 ICC-E) next host the Fannett Metal Cardinals in a league contest on September 11 at 7:30 p.m.
