East Side defeats Greencastle 11-12 All-Stars in pitchers duel

East Side scored the lone run of the game in the top of the third on an infield groundout and defeated Greencastle 1-0 in the Section 7 Tournament second-round game.

Ryan Hennessey, Dillon DiGiulio, and Ryan Donnelly combined to limit Greencastle to three hits.

Neil Sleighter, Nash Mann, and Bryce Eaton combined to allow just one run and five hits, no walks, and seven strikeouts,

It was Greencastle’s first loss after seven straight wins,

In the losers’ bracket game, Dillsburg defeated ELCO 17-0. Greencastle will now play Dillsburg on Monday night at 6:00 p.m. in an elimination game at Windy Hill Little League Complex at 6:00 p.m.  The winner will then meet East Side on Tuesday.
