West Side was led by Tyler Ray, who belted two triples; Chase Buckler had two hits, including a run-producing double; and Lincoln Jenkins had two hits and two RBI. West Side had nine hits and took advantage of nine walks to build a seven-run lead after three innings.
Haverford roared back to cut the lead to 7-6 in the fourth inning. A base hit and three walks cut the lead to 7-2. An error made it 7-3, and Dequincy Coleman- McRae ripped a two-run triple to cut the lead to 7-5. Another error made it 7-6, and that was as close as Haverford got. West Side came right back with two runs in the fourth and solo runs in the fifth and sixth to put the game away.
In earlier action, LeBouef advanced with a 9-3 win, eliminating East Stroudsburg, and Indiana eliminated Newville with a 20-3 win.
Indiana and LeBouf will play an elimination game at 11:00 a.m. The survivor will play Haverford at 2:00 p.m. for a berth in the state championship game on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
