The Southern Fulton Indians (8-1, 1-1) completed the weekend sweep of previously unbeaten Rappahannock Raiders with a 6-0 victory on Saturday at Rappahannock High School. The two SoFo pitchers, Kaden Saunders and Colt Mann, combined to throw a two hit shutout. Mann induced a groundout from Evan Douglas to get the last out to earn a 3.1 inning victory.

The Indians got on the board in the top of the fourth inning after Brooks Norris doubled, scoring one run, and Saunders singled, scoring two runs.

Saunders was the starting pitcher and gave up three hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking two. Dan Morrison took the loss for Rappahannock Varsity Raiders. The pitcher went three innings, giving up three runs on five hits, striking out three and walking two. Mann collected the save.

SoFo piled up 12 hits in the game. Brooks Norris, Austin Mann, Owen Oakman, Brady Dressel, and Charlie Weicht each collected two hits for the Indians. Norris and Saunders were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for SoFo Indians.

Davis Richardson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Rappahannock Raiders in hits.

SoFo returns to league action as they will host the Forbes Road Cardinals in their next game, Tuesday at 4:30pm.
