Brooks Norris drove in five runs on three hits to lead the SoFo Indians past Fannett-Metal 22-1 on Tuesday at Fannett-Metal High School. Norris singled in the first scoring two, singled again in the first scoring one then singled in the second scoring two.
The Indians scored 12 runs in the first inning on the way to a 3 inning victory. Austin Mann drew a walk, scoring one run, Owen Oakman drew a walk, scoring one run, Norris singled, scoring one run, Kaden Saunders singled, scoring one run, Blake Shipley hit into a double play, but one run scored, Paul Hendershot singled, scoring three runs, Oakman was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Norris singled, scoring two runs.
The Indians scored 10 runs on five hits in the top of the second inning. Colt Mann earned the win for SoFo Indians who improved to 6-1, 1-1 on the year. The pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none. Wolf took the loss for Fannett-Metal. The pitcher went two-thirds of an inning, giving up 11 runs (nine earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking five. Cam Cain stepped on the mound first for SoFo Indians. The pitcher surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Kaden Saunders threw one inning of shutout ball for the Indians in relief. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

SoFo will travel to Rappahannock, Virginia to take on perennial AA Virginia powerhouse, Rappahannock Raiders. They open play Friday night at 6pm and complete the twin-bill with a 12pm game Saturday.
