The Shalom Lady Flames, earned a hard-fought 36–31 victory over the Camp Hill Lady Lions on Friday night to advance to the District 3 AA championship game for the second straight year. It was a gritty, defensive battle from start to finish in front of a loud, packed gym.

Offense was hard to come by early. The Flames managed just four points over the first 15 minutes as Camp Hill’s defense held firm. Shalom’s defense was equally strong, allowing only 13 points, but the Flames trailed 13–4 with one minute left in the half. They responded with a key 7–0 run to close the quarter: Emily Rebok knocked down a three-pointer, and Julianna Myers and Addison Adams each converted two free throws. The surge energized the crowd and pulled the Flames within two at halftime.

Shalom carried that momentum into the third quarter, outscoring the Lions 14–10 to take a two-point lead into the fourth. Camp Hill battled to regain the advantage, but the Flames’ defense held firm while the offense produced just enough. Leading by three with six seconds remaining, Maya Lehman calmly sank two free throws to seal the win.

Addison Adams had a great game leading the Flames with a game-high 16 points as she consistently attacked the middle of Camp Hill’s defense. Emily Rebok added six points, including a crucial offensive rebound and put back in the fourth. Julianna Myers contributed four points while battling on the boards and defending taller opponents throughout the night. Harper Adams came off the bench late in the third quarter making an immediate impact with her strong rebounding while adding four points. Maya Lehman and Sydney Moore each added three to round out the scoring.

With the win, the Flames earned a rematch of last year’s District 3 AA championship against York Catholic. The title game will be played Wednesday, February 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Gettysburg High School.
