Chambersburg 120, Halifax 31: The Trojans finished their dual meet season with their fifth victory in a row Tuesday afternoon at Chambersburg YMCA in a non-league meet against the Wildcats.

The Trojans (6-7) won 9 events, including all 3 relays.

The 200 medley relay team consisted of Calla Hoffman, Jade Uglow, Audrey Keller and Graciana Clark (2:21.05); the 200 freestyle team of Brooke Reichelderfer, Addie Zimmerman, Ava Grove and Hoffman won in 2:05.27, and the 400 free relay included Zimmerman, Reichelderfer, Grove and Keller (4:55.85).

Trojan coach Abbie Reichelderfer said, “We had a fun meet today and a lot of swimmers competed in different events, which is a good break. We scored a lot of individual points.”

Individual winners were Lakin Lescalleet in the 200 free (3:09.16), Hoffman in the 200 IM (2:37.78), Reichelderfer in the 100 fly (1:24.94), Emma Skultety in the 100 free (1:18.98), Sarah Foster in the 400 free (5:58.30) and Keller in the 100 breaststroke (1:29.5).

Coach Reichelderfer said, “Our seniors — Emma, Brooke, Sarah, Ashton (Lucas), Caitlyn (Rankin) and Addie — all played a huge role role in the pool and also as role models to their younger teammates.

“II am super thankful to have a group of girls that are dedicated to each other and who want to strive each day to get better.”

Chambersburg 85, Halifax 30: The Trojans tuned up for this weekend’s Mid Penn Championships by defeating the Wildcats in a non-league meet at Chambersburg YMCA on Tuesday afternoon.

“This was the last dual meet for six seniors who have made a huge impact for the program,” Chambersburg coach Chad White said. “Alex (Kaczmark), Cristian (Pong), Xavier (Covington), Griffin (Adamek), Colby (Evans) and Levi (Uglow) have been instrumental in the team’s success the last four years, which included undefeated seasons and a district title.

“I can’t thank them enough for their contributions and leadership, and they will be missed tremendously.”

The Trojans, who finished 12-1, won 4 individual events — Isaac Stepan in the 200 free (2:49.30), Evans in the 50 free (28.12), Pong in the 100 fly (57.28) and Kaczmark in the 100 backstroke (1:06.19).

The 200 medley relay team of Adamek, Covington, Kaczmark and Joseph Moon won in 2:05.59, and the 200 free relay team of Reece Mader, Stepan, Adamek and Covington finished first in 1:54.17.

White said, “Isaac, Caden (Brenize) and Joseph are seniors who came out for the team this year and I’d like to congratulate them on an amazing season.”
