Executive 43  – Shalom 30

The Shalom Lady Flames dropped a hard-fought, physical contest at home Friday night against the Executive Academy Lady Raptors. The Raptors brought the toughest defense the Flames have faced all season, holding Shalom’s typically high-powered offense to just five points in both the second and fourth quarters. The Flames did manage to outscore the Raptors in the first and third quarters.

Shalom cut the deficit to five points with about two minutes remaining in the third quarter, but a prolonged scoring drought beginning at the end of the third quarter that stretched into the final minute of the fourth allowed the Lady Raptors to hold on for the win.

Addison Adams once again set the tone with her energy, leading the Flames with 12 points. Emily Rebok added 8 points while extending multiple possessions by consistently being first to the ball. Freshman Harper Adams scored 4, and Maya Lehman and Sydney Moore chipped in 3 points each. Julianna Myers had a big night on the boards and took three charges on defense, giving the Flames key opportunities to stay in the game.

The Flames are back in action today at home, taking on Lancaster County Christian at 5 PM.
