Lady Indians Fall in District 5 Quarterfinals

The Southern Fulton Lady Indians saw their season come to an end with a hard-fought 0-3 loss to Meyersdale in the District 5 quarterfinals, with set scores of 23–25, 17–25, and 19–25.

Claire Harvey led the Lady Indians with 8 kills, 4 points, 2 blocks, 1 assist, and 14 digs, while Bailey Hull turned in a strong performance at the net with 7 kills, 6 points, 2 blocks, 1 assist, and 14 digs.

Setter Kennedy Hixon guided the offense with 14 assists, adding 5 points, 1 kill, and 6 digs. Alexis Johnson was solid all around, contributing 5 points, 4 kills, 2 assists, and 8 digs. Kamryn Pittman steadied the defense with 13 digs along with 3 points, 1 kill, and 1 assist.

Rounding out the effort, Elsie Murray recorded 6 digs, and Lakyin Hixson added 1 kill and 1 dig.

Southern Fulton concludes its 2025 season with a 13-10 record, capping off a year of growth, determination, and competitive play.
