Greencastle-Antrim 3, Shippensburg 0: The Blue Devils made quick work of the Greyhounds in a Mid Penn Colonial match at Ship, and senior Abby Eagler hit a milestone on Thursday evening.
Eagler came up with 9 digs and now holds the school record for digs with 638. She also had 11 kills and 8 service points (2 aces).
Kylie Kerns (17) and Kaitlyn Alvey (11) split up most of the assists for Greencastle (2-0, 2-0 MPC). Kerns also had 8 kills and Jordyn Wagner added 6.
Wren Roberts had 13 service points (2 aces), and Kinzee Hudson and Hayden Baer each had 10 points, with 4 aces for Hudson, who also led the team with 18 digs. Kerns added 3 aces.
GIRLS SOCCER
Boiling Springs 3, Greencastle-Antrim 1: The Blue Devils hosted the Bubblers in a Mid Penn Colonial game on Thursday night at Kaley Field and dropped a 3-1 decision.
Greencastle’s goal was scored by Ava Witmer. In a tournament at Boiling Springs last weekend, the Bubblers had handed G-A a 7-2 defeat. The Blue Devils are 0-4 (0-2 MPC).
