Blue Devils place 5th: In a Mid Penn Colonial match at Waynesboro Country Club on Monday afternoon, nine players were able to shoot in the 70s, led by James Buchanan’s Taylor Blair, who won medalist honors with a 75.
Among area teams, Shippensburg took second place, 11 strokes behind Northern. Waynesboro and JB tied for third and the Indians won by tiebreaker, while Greencastle-Antrim took fifth.
A four-way for fourth place with a score of 78 included G-A’s Camden Eby, JB’s Abram Stock and Shippensburg’s Ben Horgos, while the Greyhounds’ Kaydee Beckenbaugh and teammate Brayden Mitchell tied for eighth with 79s.
Tying for 10th place were the Blue Devils’ Bryce Davidson and ‘Boro’s Landon Crable and Caden Shacreaw with 81s.
