Shalom fell to Lancaster Mennonite 7-2 on Monday. They gave up 7 runs with only 1 being earned as the defense would struggle. On the offense side of the game, Shalom just couldn’t catch a break. They stranded multiple runners and just couldn’t find a gap to hit. Junior Carter Defenderfer pitched another good game going 5 and ⅔ innings striking out 8.
Shalom is 2-2 on the season.
