Greencastle-Antrim 3, James Buchanan 0: The Blue Devils survived a close first game against the Rockets, winning 25-23, but then rolled to 25-12 and 25-14 wins in the last two to collect a Mid Penn Colonial victory Tuesday night in Mercersburg.
Abby Eagler and Kylie Kerns both produced stat-filled nights for Greencastle (3-0, 3-0 MPC). Eagler racked up 9 kills, 8 digs and 13 service points, including 4 aces, while Kerns put up 6 kills, 6 points, 5 digs and 16 assists.
Alaina Garling contributed 11 assists and 5 digs, Morgan Kline led in digs with 9, Wren Roberts had 4 kills, Emma Pool made a pair of blocks and Jordyn Wagner had 5 kills.

Greencastle-Antrim 2, West Perry 0: Braelyn Cordell had a hand in both goals as the Blue Devils pinned a shutout loss on the Mustangs on Tuesday evening in Elliottsburg in a Mid Penn Colonial game.
Cordell scored the first goal after an assist by Hailey Baker. On the second goal, scored by Brooke Guthrie, Cordell was credited with the assist.
The defense of the Blue Devils (3-1, 2-0 MPC) and goalkeeper Lexi Nelson made those two goals stand up for the shutout, as Nelson made 5 saves.
BOYS SOCCER
Greencastle-Antrim 2, West Perry 1, OT: Cooper Noblit scored a goal 45 seconds into the second overtime to lift the Blue Devils to their first win, a Mid Penn Colonial clash with the Mustangs at Kaley Field.
Noblit had also scored the game’s first goal after a perfect through ball pass from Eli Christophel, but West Perry tied it in the second half. The winning goal came on a solo run into the 18 before Noblit hit the game-winner.
“We were off a lot, but that’s due to the new system and personnel changes,” G-A coach Tim Carey said. This is an extremely young side. We will still take some hits while we mature, but today we asked for heart and got what we asked for.”
Greencastle is 1-2 (1-1 MPC).
