The James Buchanan Rockets closed the regular season with a 12-7 win over West Perry Tuesday at Mercersburg.
The Rockets picked up 11 hits in the game. Hayden Sanchez, Parker Summers, and Jimmy Bell led the way with two hits each.
Carter Hissong knocked in three runs for James Buchanan.
Drew Crouse went the first 5 2/3 innings for the Rockets and survived seven unearned runs to pick up the win. Crouse allowed three hits, struck out four, and walked two.
The Rockets finished with a 13-6 overall record. They finished third in the Mid-Penn Colonial with a 7-6 record
James Buchanan is currently ranked #4 in District 3 AAAA and received a first-round bye. Barring any changes when the final rankings are released, the Rockets will host Berks Catholic Monday, May 20 at 4:30.
