Southern Fulton (14-3, 6-0) lost to Northern Bedford County 4-2 on Friday.
Northern Bedford County got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Eion Snider hit into a fielder’s choice, Josiah Bowser singled, and Ben Gable singled, each scoring one run.
Northern Bedford County added one run in the second after Reece Musselman singled.
Musselman earned the win for Northern Bedford County. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over six innings, striking out eight and walking two.
Ethan Mellott took the loss for the Indians. The starting pitcher went five innings, surrendering four runs on 11 hits, striking out three and walking one.
Powell, Jett Burger, Hendershot, and Trentin Cain each collected one hit for Southern Fulton.
Northern Bedford County accumulated 11 hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Aaron Bowers led Northern Bedford County with three hits in four at bats. Gable, Snider, Musselman, and Bowser each drove in one run for Northern Bedford County. Bowers stole two bases.
