East Pennsboro 53, Greencastle-Antrim 24: The Blue Devils completed their dual meet season with a non-league defeat to the Panthers on the road Thursday night, but the season was still a big success for G-A.
Since the 2017-18 season, the Blue Devils had won a total of only 8 dual meets before this year, and that includes having no team in 2020-21. So Greencastle nearly matched that total of wins this year alone with a 7-14 record.
Against East Penn, G-A picked up pins from Chance Zimmerman at 121, Landon Hinkle at 152 and Ayden Amsley at 172. Blaine Martin also scored points with a forfeit win.
For the duals season, six Blue Devils finished with winning records — Aidan Crouse (14-5), Hinkle (13-8), Amsley (12-9), Zimmerman (11-9), Kahl Cordell (9-7) and Martin (8-3).
