Southern Fulton defeated Everett on Tuesday evening 56 to 46. The Indians (2-1, 1-0 ICC South), led 17 to 14 at the end of one and 30 to 21 at Halftime, never trailing in the game.
Coach Jeremy Hann stated, “We shot well as a team tonight, with Mellott, Ward, and Burger all having high shooting percentage games, but our defense is nowhere near where it has been in the past and so we have a lot of work to do. Everett played us tough, and we closed them out when it was time, we will build on that”.
The Indians were led by Hunter Ward with 16 points, and 2 assists. Ethan Mellott had 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jett Burger had 12 points, and 8 rebounds. Paul Hendershot had 7 points and 2 assists. Sammy Stotler added 4 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals.
Everett was led by Rylan Hicks with 11 points.
