Chambersburg takes 6th: The Trojans hosted the Mid Penn Commonwealth’s first competition at Penn National’s Iron Forge on Wednesday afternoon.

State College won the team race with 303 strokes, beating Hershey by four. The Little Lions’ Max Wager was the medalist with a 2-under par round of 70.

For Chambersburg, which finished sixth, Jeremy Otto placed 27th with an 82, Brady Sites was 24th with an 86, and Brady Fretz shot 90 to place 33rd.

Trojan coach Mark Yost said, “Jeremy played solid, but maybe up to his standards, and Sites had a good start and finish to shoot 39 on the back nine. I can’t really say we have a young team, but we do have a lot of new guys.”
