Greencastle 11-12 All Stars were eliminated from the Little League International Tournament with a 7-5 loss to Dillsburg. It was Greencastle’s second loss in the double elimination Section 7 Tournament.
Greencastle jumped out to any early 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Dillsburg scored a run in the bottom of the first to make it 3-1, then scored four in the third to go up 5-3.
Greencastle tied the game with solo runs in the fourth and fifth inning but Dillsburg came back in the bottom of the with two runs to take a 7-5 win.
Greencastle’s season ends with a 7-3 record and their third straight district championship.
Greencastle 9-10 team kept their season alive with a 9-4 win over Dillsburg and will play GEYA Friday at 5:30.
