The Southern Fulton Indians (16-1, 13-1) sailed to an easy victory over the Southern Huntingdon Rockets, on Tuesday with a 13-2 victory.
Southern Fulton got things moving in the first inning, when Jett Burger singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. Dane Harvey followed with a single to put the Indians up 3-0.
Southern Fulton tacked on five runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Southern Fulton Indians was led by Dane Harvey, Mark Fitz, Paul Hendershot, and Kasey Fitz, who all drove in runs.
Ethan Powell was the winning pitcher for Southern Fulton Indians. The hurler threw the complete game, five innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven.
The Indians saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Hendershot (2 hits and 4RBIs), Kasey Fitz(2 hits and 1 RBI), Trayton Younker (2 doubles and 1RBI), Dane Harvey (2 hits and 3 RBIs), and Burger (2 hits and 1 RBI) all collected multiple hits for Southern Fulton.
The Indians will host the Tussey Mt Titans at 4:30pm on Thursday at SF.
