Dane Harvey was in the zone on Thursday, tallying four hits and leading the Southern Fulton Indians (13-0, 10-0) to a 6-1 win over Everett. Harvey’s big day started with a homer in the first, followed by a triple in the third, and singles in the fourth and sixth innings.
Harvey’s Homer in the top of the 1st inning jump started the SoFo offense to a quick 2-0 lead. The Indians then tallied three runs in the third inning. The big bats were led by Trayton Younker and Paul Hendershot, who all drove in runs.
Hendershot earned the victory on the hill for Southern Fulton. The ace improved to 5-0 on the season as he went six innings, allowed one run while scattering eight hits, striking out seven and walking zero. Harvey threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen to finish the game.
SoFo travels to McConnellsburg on Tuesday evening to take on their cross county rival at 6pm.
