Four hits from both Jett Burger and Paul Hendershot paved the way to victory for Southern Fulton (9-0, 6-0) over Hancock 24-1 on Wednesday. Hendershot’s 3 singles and double plated a team high 5 runs. Burger’s day ended with 3 singles and a double and plated 3 runs.
The Indians scored 11 runs in the second inning. The big offense in the inning came from singles by Paul Hendershot, Hunter Ward, Josh Morgan, and Burger, doubles by Burger and Mark Fitz, a walk by Powell, and by Trayton Younker.
Hendershot toed the rubber for Southern Fulton Indians. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out seven.
