The Southern Fulton Indians (4-2, 4-0) hosted their rival McConnellsburg Spartans Monday night in a big ICC South matchup. SoFo was able to break the game open in the bottom of the 4th as they scored 9 runs and walked away with a 15-5, 6 inning victory.
Kasey Fitz had a big day at the plate going 3-3 with 3rbis. Trayton Younker also posted 3 RBIs while finishing 2-3 at the plate. Josh Morgan finished 2-2 and contributed 2 RBIs.
Indians pitchers Ethan Powell and Konner Pittman combined to throw a 3 hitter. Pittman earned the W, after relieving Powell in the 2nd, by throwing 4.2 innings of 1 hit ball.
The Indians will host league foe Northern Bedford in a doubleheader on Wednesday in Warfordsburg. The first game will start at 2pm.
