Southern Fulton suffers narrow loss in ICC Final

Southern Fulton lost to Williamsburg 53 to 50 in the ICC Finals Saturday night. The Indians (18-6, 15-3 ICC) trailed by 3 in the 4th quarter, with 10 seconds left to play and watched a 3 pointer by Dane Harvey front rim. Williamsburg rebounded as time expired.

Coach Jeremy Hann stated “This was a great ball game and Williamsburg was a well coached, quality opponent. They shot 9 of 18 from 3 point land and that is just hard to overcome. Our boys can’t be ashamed, we have to turn to the District playoffs now”.

Southern Fulton was led by Zach Price with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and a block. Dane Harvey added 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Konner Pittman had 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tyler Mosemann had 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 steals. Ethan Mellott had 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Holden Stotler chipped in 2 points.

Williamsburg was led by Lambert Palmer with 19 points.

As the number 1 seed, Southern Fulton has a 1st round bye in the District 5 playoffs and awaits the winner of Shanksville vs.Salisbury, for a second round matchup on Friday, 25 February, at Southern Fulton.
