Greencastle-Antrim 59, Waynesboro 23: The Blue Devils owned the first half, rolling to a 42-8 lead, and took a Mid Penn Colonial win over the Maidens on Friday night in the ‘Boro.
Greencastle (17-3, 11-2 MPC) used a pressure defense and a 26-4 bulge in the second quarter to take total control of the game.
Haley Noblit led the way for the Blue Devils, racking up 21 points (17 in the first half), 4 rebounds and 3 steals, and freshman Meadow Gambacurta dropped in 14 points for a career high, plus 7 boards.
Mia Libby had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists; Rylee Henson scored 9 points and added 3 assists, and Lauren Pool contributed 4 points and 7 rebounds.
The Blue Devils host Big Spring (16-2, 12-0 MPC) on Friday night.

Waynesboro 69, Greencastle-Antrim 46: The Indians took a big lead in the first quarter (21-6) and the Blue Devils were never able to catch up in a Mid Penn Colonial game Tuesday night in Greencastle.
G-A (7-13, 4-9 MPC) did rally in the second quarter to get to within 35-30 by halftime, but ‘Boro (15-3, 13-1 MPC) pulled away again in the third (19-9).
Logan Alvey scored a career-high 14 points for the Blue Devils, including 11 in the second quarter. Surzano Solomon match his career high with 12 points and Eli Sterling had 8 points. Leading scorer Conner Wright played only in the first period.
For the Indians, Reese Cover tallied 22 points, Jaylon Bean had 12 and Ryan Shaffer 10.
