Southern Fulton defeated Fannett Metal 42 to 25 in an ICC match up Friday evening. The Indians (9-3, 6-2 ICC) used a 16 to 6 2nd period to take a 23 to 11 halftime lead and cruised to the victory.
Zach Price led Southern Fulton with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. Konner Pittman had 8 points, 4 assists. Ethan Mellott had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Kasey Fitz had 5 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Tyler Mosemann added 3 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals.
Coach Jeremy Hann stated “Tyler and Kasey were on point defensively tonight. They really were focused, and it led us from the beginning”. Fannett Metal was led by Hunter Hill with 12 points and 3 rebounds. Southern Fulton plays again tomorrow against James Buchanan.
