“We’re playing steady consistent volleyball as a team with everyone contributing. We’re happy with our first half of conference play and look to build on that moving forward.” Saunders said.
The JV volleyball team made it to the halfway point of their season. Beating the Northern Polar Bears in two sets with scores of 25 – 18 and 25 – 16, the Maidens now have a record of 7 – 0.
“Tonight’s match was the best this team has played yet! There was hustle and excitement on and off the court. Defense was definitely a team effort as everyone chipped in and played their positions.” Saunders stated.
Jada Creager led the offense by putting down five kills for the Maidens, along with Abby McElory, Kiera Mouer, and Emma Swanson contributing two each.
The Maidens travel to Cumberland Valley on Saturday for a 4pm start for JV before returning home on Tuesday evening for Dig Pink night.
