Palmyra 5, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans had several competitive matches, but the Cougars pulled out a win in each to claim the match on Wednesday.
Biya Khan at No. 3 singles had a close match, losing 6-3, 6-2. At No. 1 doubles, Ridglee Flohr and Stormy Jackson fell 6-3, 6-4, and at No. 2 doubles, Aspen Kimberly and Sydni Byers were edged, 7-6 (8-6), 7-5.
“The score doesn’t reflect how hard our players fought,” Trojan coach Josh Barwin said. “Doubles 1 and 2 both played really well. We just didn’t have enough in the tank to get the result we wanted.”
