Orbisonia, Pa. – Southern Fulton (14-8, 10-4 ICC) ended the regular season on a high note with a 40 to 38 win over Southern Huntingdon. Hailey Mellott led the Indians with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Lindsey Hollenshead added 5 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 blocks. Jalyn Hann chipped in 8 points. Indian Coach Joe Hollenshead commented, “Our girls played with heart tonight. We erased a seven point deficit in the fourth quarter to seal a hard fought win.” JV – Southern Fulton 45 Southern Huntingdon 44. OT (SF – Sam Ashkettle 13 points). Southern Fulton will host McConnellsburg in the first round of the District V Class AA Playoffs on Wednesday, February 19, at 7:00.
