Waynesboro 67, Greencastle-Antrim 9: The Blue Devils managed only a pair of victories and fell to the Indians in a Mid Penn Colonial wrestling match Thursday night.
At 120 pounds, G-A’s Garrett Keener picked up a 5-2 decision over Bodie Rouzer. Keener had a first-period takedown, then Rouzer tied it with a third-period reversal. But Keener broke the tie with an escape, then took Rouzer down to seal the win.
The other win for the Blue Devils (1-4, 0-3 MPC) came at 145. Jared Miller led Drake McGregor 14-0 already when he completed a pin at 5:16.
At 152, Greencastle’s Adam Booze and Carson McGregor hooked up in a wild one, but McGregor prevailed, 13-11. Booze led 4-3 after one and McGregor led 10-7 after two periods.
Waynesboro is 1-6 (1-2 MPC).
