Heritage tops Blazers, 3-1

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers fell behind early and dropped a 3-1 decision to Heritage Academy Thursday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.

Heritage won the first two games 25-14 and 25-20 before the Blazers (10-6, 7-5 MDCC) claimed a 25-22 victory to stay alive. Heritage, however, won 25-16 in the fourth game to take the match.

For the Blazers, Regan Bard had 19 assists and three blocks, Kerri Potteiger eight digs, Emilee Beam 12 kills and 17 digs, Ryleigh Timmons 24 digs and Niki Schussler eight digs.

Heritage won the JV match 2-1.
