Hancock 9 Fannett Metal 5

Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (10-4) lost to Hancock at home tonight by the score of 9 to 5 in non league competition. Jade Rhodes led the lady Tigers offensively with two doubles and a triple. Morgan Ritchey was 3 for 4 with a double. They combined for 7 of the 9 total hits for the Tigers. Klarissa Miley took the loss in the circle going four innings and giving up four runs. Megan Oberholzer went 3 for 3 with 2 homeruns for Hancock. FM travels to McConnellburg tomorrow. 

McConnellsburg 9 Everett 7 (8 Innings)

McConnellsburg (7-8, 7-5 ICC) and Everett competed a rain suspended game from last night and the Spartans downed the Warriors 9 to 7. Sami Hensley led the Spartans going 4 for 5. Destiny Hall had 3 hits. Mcconnellsburg outhit the Warriors 11 hits to 9. McConnellsburg Coach Dana Winters said, “Sami and Destiny were hot with the bats today and kept us in the game. With the rain delay from yesterday, Karah Stiffler the starting pitcher pitched 3 solid innings and Destiny Hall finished today strong. We also had smart base running by Sydney Rezzetano. We played well as a team.” McConnellsburg will host Fannett Metal tomorrow.
