Everett, Pa. – Fannett Metal (8-3, 6-3 ICC) traveled to Everett for a league contest and defeated the Warriors 10 to 6. Jamie Adams and Klarissa Miley both had productive plate appearances both scoring 2 runs each with 2 hits a piece and Miley added 2 RBIs. Jade Rhodes picked the complete game win scattering 4 hits over 7 innings. She allowed 3 earned runs and also added a big 2 RBI double late in the game to push the lead out to 5 runs. FM will host Southern Huntingdon on Thursday at 4:30.
Northern Bedford 11 Forbes Road 6
Waterfall, Pa. – After going ahead 4-2 after 3 innings and a lightning delay, Forbes Road (1-9, 1-8 ICC) gave up 8 runs in the 4th inning. NBC would tack on another run in the 5th. Forbes Road would add two more runs in the 4th inning. Ashlin Walter threw all 7 innings, striking out 8 was tagged with the loss. Walter also doubled and drove in three. Mara Broadwater had 2 hits and drove in three. Harlie Strait tripled and Brianna Waters doubled for the Cardinals. Forbes Road will host Hope for Hyndman on Wednesday (4/24) at 4:30.
