Greencastle baseball holds off late Musselman rally for victory

The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils built a 5-1 lead after three innings and held on to defeat the Musselman Applemen in a rare night game 4-3 in  Inwood ,WV Thursday night. Musselman exploded for three runs in the bottom of the seventh but the rally fell short.

Greencastle got off to a quick start scoring two runs in the first and second innings, and a solo run in the third. Musselman scored a run in the second and were shutout until the seventh inning.

With the win the Blue Devils improve to 2-4 and snapped a three game losing streak. Greencastle will host Chambersburg Friday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. The game can be heard on Mid Penn Broadcasting and WRGG 93.7 FM.
