Johnstown, Pa. – Tussey Mt. broke open a close game in the fourth quarter outscoring the Tigers 17 to 3 in the final frame to win the PIAA District V consolation round at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Sportscenter. Katie Johns led the Lady Tigers with 10 points. Sophie Brumbaugh led the Titans with 15 points and Meghan Molosky added 11 points. With the win Tussey Mt. (17-8) moves on into the PIAA state playoffs where they will play Purchase Line at Central Cambria High School at 4:00 on Saturday, March 9. The Lady Tigers finished their season with a 16-8 record.
