BOYS SWIMMING
Cumberland Valley 100, Chambersburg 85: Cumberland Valley knocked the Trojans from the unbeaten ranks Thursday, taking a 100-85 victory in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet.
Each team won 6 events, but CV went 2-3, 1-2 and 1-3 in the three relays to steal extra points.
For the Trojans (5-1, 3-1 MPC), C.J. Pong and Jacob Greenwood each won two events and swam on the winning 200 medley relay team.
Pong took the butterfly in 53.19 and the 200 IM in 1:57.78, while Greenwood was victorious in the 200 freestyle (1:44.10) and 500 free (4:48.54).
Avery Barley was the backstroke winner with a time of 55.53. The medley relay team, which posted a time of 1:42.14, included Barley, Michael Johnson, Pong and Greenwood.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Cumberland Valley 138, Chambersburg 47: The Eagles proved to be too strong for the Trojans in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet Thursday.
Chambersburg (1-5, 0-4 MPC) came up with two first-place efforts, both by Liv Terrazas, who won the 200 IM in 2:21.50 and the backstroke in 1:03.11.
The only second place for the Trojans was by Maddie Kinton in the butterfly.
