Greencastle boys fall to Gettysburg, girls lose at South Western

The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils boys lost to Gettysburg 57-49 in a non league game at Greencastle Wednesday night. The Blue Devils fall to 2-7 with the defeat. Jason freeman lead all scores with 15 points for Greencastle, Thomas Lewis had 12, nine coming inthe final 1:30 of the game and Josh Anderson added 10. Th eBlue Devils scored 27 of their 49 points in the fourth quarter.

Gettysburg (4-6) used balance scoring placing four players in double figures. Josh Toper with 14, Quadir Copeland, Zach Ketterman and Charles Warren all had 10 for the Warriors.

In girls action the Lady Blue Devils lost to South Western 52-23 in a non league contest at Hanover on Wednesday to drop to 6-2 on the season.

The boys host Waynesboro Friday night at 7:30, while the girls travel to Waynesboro for a 7:30 contest.

NOTE: Greencastle hosts McConnellsburg Saturday night in a doubleheader with the boys game at 6:00 p.m. and girls at 7:30. Both games will be on Mid Penn Broadcasting.
