Greencastle defeats East Pennsboro 64-62 will play for championship Saturday

The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils defeated East Pennsboro 64-62 in the opening round of the East Pennsboro Holiday Tournament Friday night. Jason Freeman scored 23 points to lead the Blue Devils, Ethan Miller had nine, Taylor Noblit and Kobe Jones-Green each scored seven points. The game winner came on a three pointer by Thomas Lewis with 8.7 seconds remaining to put the Blue Devils up by one.
The victory set up a rematch with Cedar Cliff. Greencastle defeated the Colts a year ago to win the tournament and the two teams will square off in the championship game Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at East Pennsboro High School.
The Blue Devils are 2-5 with the victory, East Pennsboro falls to 2-6.
Cedar Cliff (2-5) defeated Donegal (0-7) 50-43 in the other opening round game.
