Adam Houser wins it at buzzer for Greyhounds

The Shippensburg Greyhounds defeated Susquehanna Township in dramatic fashion with a come from behind 60-59 win over the Susquehanna Township Indians Thursday night in the opening round of the Greyhound Invitational at Shippensburg. With 5.9 seconds left Adam Houser went the length of the court after a missed foul shot and went through a couple of Indian defenders underneath to make the layup at the buzzer.

Collin Taylor lead all scores with 20 points, Adam Houser had 16 on the night, Jayden Statum also finished in double figures with 11, Jeremy Thomas had six, Anthony Smith five, and Carson Helfrick with two for the Greyhounds.

The Greyhounds (5-2) will play Octorara (4-4) in the Championship game of the Greyhound Invitational Friday at 7:30 p.m. Octorara defeated Delone 73-48. Mid Penn Broadcasting will livestream the game.

Susquehanna Township (3-5) was lead by Makhhi Jones with 16 points and will play Delone Catholic in the consolation game.
