Mount Union, Pa. – The Lady Tigers (3-1) traveled to Mt. Union for a non-league contest and were able to overcome a sluggish 2nd quarter in which they were outscored 11-21. After outscoring the Trojans in the 3rd quarter 11-3 FM was then able to hang on for a 45-44 win. The Tigers got scoring from Johns 17, Hartman 9, M Ritchey 8, Adams 6, and Rotz 5. JV – FM 33, MU 10. (FM- Hailey Hill 9, Jenna Hoffmann 8) The Tigers do not return to action until after the holiday break when they play host to McConnellsburg on January 3rd.

Everett, Pa. – McConnellsburg (0-4, 0-3 ICC) traveled to Everett (3-1, 3-0 ICC) and dropped an ICC league matchup 56 to 27. The Warriors led 35 to 12 at half and were paced by Maxwell’s 13 and Hicks with 12. Katelyn Truax scored 11 points (4 for 4 from the foul line), had 5 rebounds, and 7 blocks to lead the Lady Spartans. Matti Ross and Essence Robinson both scored 4 points and Ross also had 6 rebounds. JV- EHS 49 MHS 21 (MHS – Aleah Lynch 6 points, Lainnie Glenn and Kendyl Truax 5 points with Truax 8 rebounds) McConnellsburg returns to action on Friday when they will travel to Shade.
