The Waynesboro Indians improved to 3-1 on the season (1-1 MPC Colonial) with a 72-59 win over Shippensburg at Waynesboro Tuesday night. After allowing a sixteen point fourth quarter lead to get away in a loss to Northern Friday, the Indians allowed a seventeen point lead to dwindle to four before roaring back to defeat the Greyhounds. Cole Rhyne lead the Indians with 20 points, Jay Alvarez and Adam Campbell each had 18 and Hunter Clever 11 to lead the Indians.
Collin Taylor lead the Greyhounds with 20, Isaiah Howser scored 15, and Jayden Statum 14 for Shippensburg 3-2 (2-1 MPC Colonial) . The Greyhounds will host Greencastle Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
The Waynesboro Indians travel to South Western Thursday night before returning home to host Boiling Springs Friday at 7:30 p.m.
In the girls game at Shippensburg the Lady Hounds defeated the Maidens 55-28.
