Courtney Kirby
FIELD HOCKEY
Chambersburg 1, Carlisle 1: The Trojans and Thundering Herd tied for the second time this season; it was 0-0 the last time the teams met.
The goal for Chambersburg 0-14-2 (0-9-2 MPC) was scored by Courtney Kirby and the assist was by Molly Keefer.
Trojan coach Dani Clutter said, “It was an extremely hard-fought game on both sides. The girls played a great game of field hockey. They have come a long way since the beginning of the season. It wasn’t the outcome we wanted for our seniors, but the effort was there and the game was exciting to coach and watch.”
