Fannett Metal 4 Everett 3 Double OT
Everett, Pa. – Fannett Metal (3-2-1, 2-1 ICC) earned a huge Double OT 4-3 win over Everett last night in the pouring rain. Everett cruised in the 1st half and led 3-0 going into halftime. FM came out firing on all cylinders scoring 3 goals in the second half to even the score. Billy Peppernick netted the 1st, with Tanner Seibert scoring the second and Baily Houck scoring the game tying goal. In the 1st OT each goalie made some great saves to send it into the second OT. Luke Coffman had 10 saves, and none bigger, with 5 minutes to go in the second OT. After a lot of midfield play, Tanner Seibert collected the ball at about 20 yards out and rifled a shot in for the game winning goal with 1:05 left. Fannett Metal will host Southern Fulton on Thursday, September 27 at 4:00.
