The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers maintained their hold on first place in the Mason-Dixon Christian Conference with a 3-0 victory over new Life Christian in girls volleyball on Tuesday.
The Blazers earned three tight victories to move to 11-0 in the MDCC. They won the first game 25-23 and the second 25-21 before wrapping up the match with a 25-14 decision.
For the Blazers, Mackenzie Householder had 21 assists, Tahra Kennedy 6 kills, Hunter Timmons 5 kills and 3 aces, Taylor Heck 4 assists, Emilee Beam 12 kills and 5 digs, Kaitlin Provard 3 kills and 2 blocks, Kerri Potteiger 3 digs, Isabel Beard 4 aces, Ryleigh Timmons 7 aces and Niki Schussler 2 digs.
New Life won the JV match, 2-0.
