Blazers roll over New Life

FREDERICK, MD. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers rolled to their third straight victory, overwhelming New Life Christian 12-0 Thursday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.

Kenneth Hott led the Blazers in scoring with three goals and four assists. Hott now has nine goals on the season.

Four other Blazers contributed a pair of goals: Jack Gabler, Jimmy Hong, Josh Rowe and Ryan Winters. David Jeong also scored a goal. Gabler and Hong added assists for the Blazers, who outshot New Life 25-7.

Gabler and Eli Black combined for the shutout in goal. The Blazers have outscored their three opponents 27-0.

“We were a faster, more skilled team tonight,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “We moved the ball and communicated well.”
