Warfordsburg, Pa. Southern Fulton softball finished off the season losing two games to Chestnut Ridge 12-2 and 9-0. Kylie Golden and Cheyenne Miller each had a loss. Southern Fulton finished the season 5-15.
McConnellsburg 16 Mercersburg Academy 1
McConnellsburg, Pa. McConnellsburg (7-10) hosted Mercersburg Academy and cruised to a 16 to 1 non league victory. Sami Hensley led the Lady Spartans going 3 for 3 while Madison Koontz was 2 for 2 including a two run homer. McConnellsburg pounded out 9 hits. Lady Spartan pitcher Kara Stiffler got the win. McConnellsburg will host Forbes Road for a double header on Friday (5/18) with the first game to begin at 1:30.
Fannett Metal 8 Rockwood 1
Rockwood, Pa. Fannett Metal (13-6) traveled to Rockwood and came away with a non league win 8 to 1. Jade Rhodes pitched a complete game two-hitter to lead the Lady Tigers to the win. Morgan Ritchey had three hits for the victors while Jamie Adams and Jealee Stouffer each added two hits. The Lady Tigers finish up the regular season Wednesday vs Northern Bradford at 3:00.
