The Greyhounds dropped a 7-2 decision to Keystone division foe Palmyra on Saturday.

Shippensburg (2-13, 1-9 Colonial) had eight hits but gave up seven runs in the fifth inning. Ethan Stauffer shut down Palmyra for four innings but gave way to Danny Dillow and Luke Davis.

Austin Lafever had three hits for the Cougars, who got five strong innings from winner Brian Coburn.

Nick Weltz and Clayton Goodyear had two hits each for the ‘Hounds.
