Shippensburg hosted West Perry in a track meet on Wednesday and garnered two victories. The girls won 91-59 and the boys won 94-56.
The Greyhound boys swept the field events as Kevin Suero won the long and triple jumps. Carter Van Scyoc, Noah Foust, and Nick Gustafson won the Javelin, Discus, and Shot put events. Michael Reich won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles and Alex Sharrow won the 100 meter race and the boys won the 400 relay.
West Perry won the 1600 and 3200 relays and the one mile as well as the 200 and 400 dashes.
Kaelyn Myers won the long jump and high jumps while the Greyhounds also got wins in the triple jump (Madison Carr) and shot put from Cassidy Funk.
Teddi Powell won the 800 and Gabriella Nye won the 1600. Madalynn Collett and Rachel Crowder won the 100 and 300 hurdles. Aubrey Sydnor won the 400 for the ‘Hounds. It was the first loss of the season for the West Perry boys, who are tied with Northern York in the Capital Division while the Greyhounds are Colonial Division champions.
