Waynesboro baseball wins 10th in a row downs Greencastle 5-1

The Waynesboro Indians are on a roll and they made it 10 in a row Tuesday defeating the Greencastle -Antrim Blue Devils 5-1 at Greencastle. The win improves the Indians record to 13-2 and 5-1 in the Mid Penn Colonial Division and clinches at least a tie for the Colonial Division crown.. Greencastle falls to 6-6 and 5-4 in the MPC.

Jarret Biesecker lead the Indians with two hits on the day.

The Indians snapped a 1-1 tie in the top of the sixth when Hunter Clever hit a leadoff double moved to third on a passed ball and scored what proved to be the winning run on a squeeze bunt by Owen McCleaf.

Alex Miller pitched  5 2/3 innings for Waynesboro allowing just two hits, striking out eight but was able to work through control problems with six walks. Tanner Rock pitched the first six innings for the Blue Devils and suffered the loss.
