Chestnut Ridge 15 Fannett Metal 2

Fishertown, Pa. Fannett-Metal struck first in the top of the 1st with an RBI groundout by Kassie Holtry scoring Morgan Ritchey, who scored both runs for the Lady Tigers.  However, then it was all Lady Lions who pulled away for a 15-2 victory. Fannett-Metal will next play at home against Everett, Wednesday at 4:30.

McConnellsburg 17 Tussey Mt. 12

Saxton, Pa. McConnellsburg traveled to Tussey Mt. and picked up a league win against the Titans 17 to 12. Matty Ross led the Lady Spartans going 3 for five from the plate. Sami Hensley and Megan Fix each added 2 hits in the win. Destiny Hall picked up the win. McConnellsburg Coach Dana Winters commented, “We had some really solid hits tonight. Hall pitched well. We just need to cut down on the mental errors.” McConnellsburg will host Chestnut Ridge on Wednesday at 4:30.

Meyersdale 14 Southern Fulton 0

Warfordsburg, Pa. Southern Fulton softball lost to defending District V Champion Meyersdale 14-0. Kylie Golden took the loss for the Lady Indians and Shawna Leonard got the win for Meyersdale. The Indians were no hit and struggled against a strong Meyersdale pitcher. Southern Fulton travels to Southern Huntingdon on Wednesday for a 4:30 start.

Everett 11 Forbes Road 1

Everett,Pa. Forbes Road traveled to Everett and dropped a five inning league contest to the Warriors 11 to 1. Hannah Skiles scored the Lady Cardinals lone run. Forbes Road’s Courtney Schoen struck out four in the loss. The Lady Cardinals will host Hyndman Charter on Wednesday in a 4:30 start.
